Bright reports your rent payments to the credit bureaus. This counts as on-time payment history helping you to build credit history. Bright reports up to 24 months of past payments and ongoing monthly payments to the credit bureaus.

Are there any fees for Rent Reporting?

You need to have Bright Premium Membership with Rent Reporting as an add-on. Rent Reporting Membership is $35 for one-time past reporting (up to 24 months) and $4 monthly recurring (for ongoing months).

What are the eligibility requirements for Rent Reporting?

  • Being a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident
  • Being at least 18 years old
  • Should pay rent for their residential house
  • Should have a valid lease
  • Should have valid rent payment proof
  • Should have paid Bright premium membership and Rent Reporting Membership (Past/Monthly)
