How it works?

Save spare change every day

Round up everyday purchases to the nearest $0.10, based on your spending habits and Bright’s saving algorithm. Daily savings are capped at $1.^¹

Your primary checking account may charge overdraft fees if you don't have enough funds to cover your Smart Round-Ups. Round-ups will be broken into multiple small savings of 1-10cents but will never exceed $1 daily

For example - Your $3.25 coffee purchase becomes a $0.75 investment towards your goals with Bright. Bright will also make multiple smart savings of <$1 based on your budget. This is in addition to rounding up your every day purchases.^¹

Set your goals and set aside small amounts

Choose your savings goals and see your spare change add up. Pay down credit cards, save for a vacation, or anything you want.

We’ll use your saved round-ups to pay off the credit cards connected and managed by Bright, build savings with Bright and activate Bright Builder (if applicable)

Access your savings from the Bright app

You can withdraw saved round-ups from the Bright Stash Account in the App. Stop or pause Smart Round-Ups anytime or if you want to save quicker, accelerate round-up multipliers.^²

You can withdraw your saved round-ups from the Bright App. You can also stop or pause smart round-ups anytime. Your money is available to you, always.^²

How can I stop Smart Round-Ups?

You can stop Smart Round-Ups from your Bright App. You can log in to Bright App → Navigate to Profile → Click on “Stash” → Click on Smart Round-Ups → Turn off Smart Round-Ups

Smart Round-Ups are included in your Bright Membership. You can check your Membership status from the Bright App

You can log in to Bright App → Navigate to Profile → Click on “Account Info” → Click on “Membership”

From what account will Bright save for Smart Round-Ups?

Bright will make savings of 1c to 10c multiple times a day from your primary checking account connected with Bright. You can change this account anytime from the Bright App and only one account can serve as the primary account at any time.

‍NOTE: Your primary checking account may charge overdraft fees if you don't have enough funds to cover your Smart Round-Ups.

How do Smart Round-Ups work?

Bright monitors the daily spends on your accounts and either round up purchases to the nearest $0.10 or makes small savings of 1-10c. Savings are capped at $1 daily. You can change your daily cap or accelerate your Round-Ups by picking a savings multiplier in the app.

Round-ups are saved to your Bright Stash Account and can be accessed in the app.

What are Smart Round-Ups?

Bright Smart Round-Ups are the easy way to achieve your savings goals, saving spare change in small manageable increments multiple times daily.

Bright will round up purchases to the nearest $0.10 or make small savings of 1c to 10c based on your budget. You hit your goals faster by saving in small increments while still staying on budget. By default, Bright will save a maximum of $1 daily.

For example, your $3.55 coffee purchase becomes a $0.05 saving towards your goals. Buy 10 coffees and you will save 10x $0.05.

What are Smart Round-Ups used for?

Smart Round-Ups are saved to your Bright Stash Account. They can be used to pay off your credit cards, build savings toward your goals, or to activate your Bright Builder Account faster*

*If eligible and approved for Bright Builder.
